Five
Points to a Successful Online Entry of Your Club into the
2008 Region 3 Championships
You
will receive an email from Patti Conner with a link to the
Online Entry System in late February when it becomes
available.
Entry
Deadline is April 3rd
POINT #1: Enter Your Club
You must
first enter your club information by clicking the
Add Club Button at the
top of the page.
Please
make sure your Club USAG # is correct. This information
cannot be changed once you add your club. All other
information can be changed via the
Edit Club Button up until
the entry deadline. You will see a "[Your Club Name] added
successfully" message in red text after you click
the
Add Club Button at the
bottom of the Add Club Form if your club is successfully
entered into the Meet Database. If you receive an error,
please check that your Club USAG # is correct and try
clicking the
Add Club Button again.
POINT #2: View Your Club Info
At any
point in time you can click the
Display Club Info Button and view
a list of your club information and the information of all
athletes currently entered in the meet.
POINT #3: Enter Your Athletes
You may
now begin adding athletes by clicking on the
Add Athlete Button at the
top of the page. Please make sure the Club USAG # is
correct. This information cannot be changed once you add
the athlete. All other information can be changed via
the
Edit Athlete Button up until
the entry deadline. If you enter an athlete under the wrong
Club USAG #, you must first delete the athlete via
the
Delete Athlete Button, then
re-enter that athlete via the Add Athlete Form. You will
see a "[Athlete Name] added successfully" message in red
text after you click the
Add Athlete Button at the
bottom of the Add Athlete Form if the athlete is
successfully entered into the Meet Database. If you receive
an error, please check that the Club and Athlete USAG # is
correct and try clicking the
Add Athlete Button again.
One you click the add athlete button, the text in each box
will not disappear. Just double click on the
Athlete First Name box and
type the first name of the next athlete you want to enter,
then use the tab button on your keyboard to move to each
successive field and enter that athlete's information and
then click the
Add Athlete Button again.
Please Note:
- Enter "M / F" to indicate gender
- Enter "Y / N" to indicate citizenship
- Enter 4 digits for the year of birth for athletes
- Enter "41" for level 4 (this is the round off 1 flip-flop
and hand stand roll down pass in the USAG code of points)
- Enter "42" for level 4B (this is the round off 1
flip-flop and round off 2 flip-flops)
- Enter "11" for Junior Elites
- Enter "12" for Senior Elites
POINT #4: Make any necessary Changes, Corrections, or
Scratches
If you
need to scratch an athlete before the entry deadline, you
may do so by clicking the
Delete Athlete Button and
entering the athlete's USAG #. You will be asked to confirm
the deletion, please make sure the correct athlete's name
is displayed before clicking yes otherwise click no and
make sure you entered the correct USAG #. To edit the
information of an athlete, click the
Edit Athlete Button, enter
their USAG # and then click the
Display Athlete Info Button. Select
the field you would like to update for that athlete and
enter the new information into the text box, then click
the
Update Button. click
the
Display Athlete Info Button again to
view the changes.
POINT #5: Print Club Roster and Send Payment
Once you
have completed the entries for your club, click the Display
Club Button and enter your Club USAG # to list your club
info and athlete entries. Print the page within your
browser and mail it along with a certified check or money
order for your club's entry fees before the entry deadline.
The mailing address is located on the Competition Info page
of this website. If you have MS Excel or another compatible
spreadsheet program, the tables displayed when after
entering your club USAG # via the
Display Club Info Button can be
copied and pasted into a spreadsheet for your connivence,
just highlight the entire table by clicking in the top left
cell and dragging the cursor to the bottom right cell to
select the table then copy, next open up a blank
spreadsheet and paste.
