Estrada wins Pan American Games

The XV Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
marked the return of Trampoline to the official
program of the multi-sport event, a quadrennial
competition similar to the Olympic Games, but only
includes the countries within North, Central, and
South America.
Chris Estrada won the Gold, while teammate Ryan Weston won the bronze for the U.S. in the men’s individual event. Canada’s Jason Burnett won the Silver medal.
In the women’s event, 2-time Olympic medalist Karen Cockburn of Canada won the Gold, followed by teammate Rosannagh MacLennan with the Silver, and Giovanna Matheus of Brazil with the Bronze.
