The FIG announced last week that the USA was awarded a berth in men’s trampoline for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China, because the International Olympic Committee’s Tripartite Commission determined no National Olympic Committee was eligible to use trampoline’s tripartite slot and the USA was first on the reserve list. The USA will now send an athlete in both men’s and women’s trampoline.

ATTENTION REGION 3 ELITE ATHLETES

We need all 2008 Elite athletes to fill out the online bio form located in the "Athletes" section of the site. Just click "Athletes" over on the right and then under that click "Elite Bio Form" Please do this by April 15th, 2008 so we can add your bio to the Region 3 Championships program.

Yesterday morning Victoria Enmon passed away from complications from a four year battle with leukemia.  She was a sophomore.   Victoria was a former athlete whom four years ago while in the 6th grade found out she had leukemia.  She was on our team for several years and competed at Nationals in Sacramento.  She loved tumbling and cheerleading and wanted so bad to continue both. Victoria was a sweet, funny, spiritual child whom could make you smile in an instant.  She fought hard, never gave up hope or faith.  She loved everyone she came in contact with.  An angel got her wings today...she will definetly be missed by us all.

The information concerning the background screening process for all USAG Professional Members has been posted under the "Coaches & Judges" section.

Kalon Ludvigson won the bronze medal in the finals of men's double-mini event at the 2007 World Championships. Russia and Canada captured gold and silver, respectively.

Chris Estrada and Ryan Weston finshed just one tenth out of medal contention placing fourth in the individual finals of the men's synchronized trampoline event at the 2007 World Champoinships. Japan, Australia, and Switzerland won the gold, silver, and bronze, respectively.
