The 2009 Canada Cup is being contested this week in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with athletes from Canada, Japan, Portugal, Russia, and the United States taking part in the event. STTA had two athletes selected as part of the official U.S. delegation to this annual competition. After the preliminary round of competition, Dakota Earnest (Acrospirits) placed 9th in Jr. Women’s Individual Trampoline and teamed with Savannah Vinsant to finish second in the Synchronized event. Tony Doles (UpsideDowners) is currenty in third in Sr. Men’s Double-Mini Trampoline. Finals will be held tomorrow.
