STTA Scholarships

STTA offers it’s collegiate level athletes and members several scholarships that are awarded annually on a case by case basis. Any STTA athlete or member that meets the criteria specified for each scholarship may apply for the “Nard Cazzell” or “Love of the Sport” Scholarships. Any STTA member may nominate someone who meets the criteria specified for the “Bill & Shirley Arnwine” or “Heart of a Champion” Scholarship.

Scholarship Applications are due by March 1, 2010 and will be awarded at the 2010 STTA Championships.

NARD CAZZELL SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded based on application to an athlete who:
~ Maintains high academic standards
~ Demonstrates leadership abilities
~ Posses good work ethics

BILL & SHIRLEY ARNWINE SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded based on nomination to an athlete who:
~ Possesses good work ethics
~ Demonstrates integrity and the pursuit of excellence
~ Shows a desire to learn and excel

“LOVE OF THE SPORT” SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded based on application to an athlete who:
~ Has qualities that exemplify a love for the sport
~ Demonstrates leadership abilities
~ Possesses good work ethics

“HEART OF A CHAMPION” SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded based on nomination to an athlete who:
~ Has overcome adversity
~ Has continually pursued the sport
